Our History

American Landscape Lighting Design (AMLLD) was founded in 1976. Headquartered in Central Texas, AMLLD is the only licensed electrical contractor specializing in landscape lighting in the area.

AMLLD has provided professional lighting solutions to the Texas Hill Country for over 43 years. We use only the highest quality, commercial grade, American-made fixtures that help to add value, security and beauty to your property.

In the early 80s, after working on projects such as the Oakview Medical Center and the Martin Marietta Quarry (across from Fiesta Texas), we opted to focus our efforts and passion on specialty lighting. 

To date, AMLLD has designed and installed lighting for numerous sports courts, tennis courts, baseball, soccer fields and social venues.  We have done lighting projects in every corner of Texas, as well as Oklahoma, Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada.
